Blue Angel·clause 3.3·p.20
The requirement
The publisher’s words are shown on request, below the limits.
What the product must meet
Limits held for this clause
| Parameter / context | Operator | Limit | Unit |
|---|---|---|---|
| (all insulation materials): ≤ 6.0 kg CO₂ eq. per m² (where R = 1 m²∙K/W)23 | ≤ | 6 | unit not recorded |
| ded ceilings in the system: ≤ 10.0 kg CO₂ eq. per m² (where R = 1 m²∙K/W or | ≤ | 10 | unit not recorded |
The document states how these relate: these limits apply in steps, by level or by band.
Compare this limit across schemes
The limit was read from the clause wording and checked by a reader.
- Exemptions
- High-performance insulation products with a thermal conductivity of < 0.020 [W/mK] are excluded from this requirement (no maximum value requirement)
The publisher’s words
The publisher lets each reader see 3 of this document’s clauses a day.
This is the publisher’s condition for Klar Cite showing its words; the limits, the citation and everything else on this page are free to read. Showing the wording counts one clause.
How it is proven
- Evidence required
- The applicant shall declare compliance with the requirements in Annex 1 and declare the GWP reference value (the GWP for the manufacturing and disposal phase, sum of the GWP information for modules A1 to A3 and C1 to C4 of the EPD, of the product for a 1 m² reference application with an R-value of 1 m²∙K/W) in Annex 1-P and confirm compliance with the respective applica- ble permitted material value for the GWP reference. If the EPD is not yet available when the application is submitted, the GWP reference value is submitted at a later time together with the EPD as soon as it is available, without being asked to do so.
- Who checks it
- Applicant declares — a signed statement from the applicant
How Klar Cite classifies it
Klar Cite’s reading of the clause, not the scheme’s own claim.
- What it asks
- Meet — a limit, condition or outcome the product must satisfy
- Standing
- Required — must be met for the credential
- Impact area
- Climate Health — the CMF area the clause addresses
