For manufacturers

A manufacturer account holds your product library and the pages you publish as the manufacturer's own record of each product. Publishing needs a company subscription. Until Klar Cite has checked by hand that your account speaks for the manufacturer, your pages say they are under review.

  1. 1. Build your product library.

Add your products one by one, a single range, a product line or the whole catalogue.

  2. 2. Add products and their details.

Attach each product's credentials and record its product code, country of origin, colours, certificate numbers, expiry dates and other product details, and choose which details each page shows.

  3. 3. See what your credentials required, and where they count.

Open each credential to the clauses behind it, cited to the document and page. See which impact areas it addresses, and which rating tools and procurement policies recognise it and on what terms. Before you pursue another credential, you can read what it would ask of your product.

  4. 4. Publish your product pages.

A published page is the manufacturer's own record of the product. It has a permanent link that specifiers can take into their schedules and specifications.

  5. 5. Add, edit or retire pages.

Update a page when a credential renews or a detail changes, and specifiers with the page in a schedule get an email. Each change is dated on the page. Retire a page when a product leaves the range.

  6. 6. Confirm the pages that cite you.

When a specifier has published a page for one of your products, the page invites you to take it in. Keep the credential lines that are right, leave out the ones that aren't, and once your company is checked and subscribed, it's your record.
