What the product must meet
- Exemptions
- Small parts such as screws, hinges, bolts etc. are excepted from the requirements of this criterion unless they are parts that are intended to come into frequent contact with skin. For high-alloy stainless steel types a mixture of nitric acid and hydrofluoric acid solution (with hydrofluoric acid between 1 - 5 %) is acceptable.
